It's where, exactly?

The ceremony will be in an unconventional location in the middle of nature! Sam's standing there in the picture above :) But don’t worry, it's a well traveled path and nothing crazy. Here’s a link to Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/m72n7WAmknADiRyx8 If coming from town we recommend taking the northern route. The road is a well maintained dirt road. Standard coupes and sedans can easily make the drive. Off road vehicles are not required! There will be a large lot for parking and the ceremony will only be several steps from there. We will have people helping with parking or shuttling you to and from an overflow lot if needed.

Is it a standing ceremony?

Answer

Yes! It will be a short 15-20 min standing ceremony. Chairs will not be provided. The rest of the time will be spent hanging around and enjoying the beautiful landscape.

Are there restrooms?

Answer

No, there will not be restrooms at the ceremony. Please use the restroom before arriving to the ceremony. There is a porta potty a 6 min drive down the trail if needed. Yes, there will be restrooms at the reception. The reception will be at an indoor venue with fully plumbed restrooms.

What’s the attire?

Answer

We're calling it Mountain Formal :) We would love to see everyone in suits and dresses, but be comfortable enough to walk on unpaved land. Fall colors encouraged. Does Patagonia make dresses? Does Birkenstock make dress shoes?

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes, we'd love to have your little ones celebrate with us! But if you prefer to leave them at home for a weekend away, that's okay too! There will be no special amenities in place for kiddos, apart from the super fun dirt that we love to play in.
