We started working together in November of 2016. However, with us both being thoroughly professional working types, we were oblivious to one another's charm until Spring of 2018. That is when we ended up attending a site survey together as mechanical and electrical engineer for a bank project in San Luis Obispo. It was during this extended road trip that we made tentative plans to go rock climbing together at some point in the nebulous future. Then proceeded a period of time beloved by all our close friends and family that we refer to as "practice dating". All manor of excuses were made to distract from the excessive amount of time we started spending together - primarily centered around rock climbing. Instead of visiting the climbing gym for the typical 2 hour duration, we sometimes stayed for hours longer. Through this shared past time, we began to meet one another's friends and become more involved in other social aspects of each other's lives. In short, it became painfully obvious to everyone we knew that we loved spending time together and were good at it. We so appreciate the patience of those around us during that time and are beyond grateful for the forceful encouragement we received! Finally, we began officially dating in May of 2018. Since then, we have lived together for four and a half years, shared three dogs, visited five countries, and even bought a project house together. With our second extended practice period complete, we are exceptionally excited to finally be married, and we are so thrilled to share our lives with all of you!
