Our story began back in August 2018 when we met on a blind date. With college just around the corner, neither of us was looking for a relationship—but the universe had other plans. What was supposed to be a simple two-hour movie date turned into half a day together. We instantly connected and spent as much time as we could in the few short weeks before school began. At the end of August, Skyler moved to Madison, Wisconsin, and suddenly the world felt much bigger. But distance didn’t stop us—we FaceTimed every night, and Miguel made his first visit over Labor Day weekend, arriving with handmade artwork and roses. On September 1, 2018, we made our relationship official. Nearly eight years later, after chapters in Illinois, Wisconsin, and now Arizona, our love has only grown stronger. We're so excited to start our forever as husband and wife, and see where the world takes us next.
