BY far our favorite winery on Old Mission Peninsula. Try a froze and charcuterie plate on the back porch and don't forget to check out the Secret Garden Lavender farm and shop.
We are a little biased when we say this is the BEST winery in TC! Meg's mom and dad (and surrounding neighbors) sell their Pinot Blanc grapes to this winery. LFC is also the only urban winery in TC and is located in the old laundry facility of the old State Hospital, now called Grand Traverse Commons.
This used to be the state mental hospital so there is some serious creepy history here! But the buildings are stately and beautifully renovated (still in process), the walking trails are serene and there are several shopping and dining options. Try out the Red Spire for brunch!
This is where you head for a seriously breathtaking view and hike! The drive out to the dunes is worth it, just pack a lunch and lots of water. Or don't pack a lunch and head to Glen Arbor or Leland for a great small town lunch experience and some cute shops and harbors.
By far our favorite restaurant in TC. Very simple decor but delicious far to table fare and quality service that steps up the dining experience. Located in the Warehouse Which is a fun spot to explore and close to the beach.
A sweet little French restaurant that is consistently delicious and has the best mocha in town. A great spot for brunch and right downtown TC.
Outdoor spot in downtown TC with a full bar and multiple food trucks!
A great spot for craft beer, BBQ and tacos and just a cool hangout. It's just outside of Suttons Bay which is another great little town to explore.
