Shuttle Bus to Rehearsal Dinner

August 5, 2022 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

A bus will be leaving from The Hampton Inn in Elizabethtown at 5:30pm sharp to bring us to the rehearsal dinner in Bardstown. The shuttle will leave Bardstown at 9:00pm to bring our group back to The Hampton Inn. The trip is 30 minutes. You can walk over to the Inn from another hotel, drive and leave your vehicle there, or take a cab between your Airbnb and the hotel. Cab contact information is listed in this "Travel" tab.

Shuttle bus to the Wedding

August 6, 2022 3:30 pm - 11:00 pm

A bus will be leaving from the Hampton Inn in Elizabethtown at 3:30pm sharp to take a group to the wedding location. The bus will provide transportation back to the Hampton Inn later in the evening for anyone that needs an early departure and will also return guests to the Inn at the end of the evening. The wedding location is along a winding two-lane road so we encourage guests to use the bus transportation. If you are not staying at the Hampton Inn, you can take a cab to the Hampton Inn, walk over from another hotel, or park your personal vehicle at the Inn. If you take a cab to the wedding, you may want to consider taking the bus back to the Hampton Inn at the end of the evening as it may be easier to get a cab pick up from there than at the wedding location.

Cab/Taxi information

If you are not staying in a hotel, we recommend using a taxi service to get to and from the bus at the Hampton Inn or to and from the week's events. There is Cleveland Johnson Cab service at (270) 737-5498 and City Cab Elizabethtown at (270) 268-9560 or (270) 351-8294. You should call in advance to reserve. The wedding location is along a winding two-lane road, so we encourage guests to use transportation. Additionally, it may be easier to get a taxi pick up from the hotel than at the wedding location.

Hampton Inn Elizabethtown

We have secured a block of rooms between August 4-7 at the Hampton Inn in Elizabethtown at a discounted rate of $189 per night. Transportation to and from Rehearsal Dinner and the Wedding will depart from Hampton Inn. Rooms with double beds are limited, so please choose the King option if you will not be using the other bed. Click the link to book and please reach out if there are any issues. There are plenty of accommodations to fit your budget. Should you wish to upgrade, there are a couple of nicer hotels, Springhill Suites by Marriott and the Hilton Garden Inn in Elizabethtown. Unfortunately we were unable to book a block with them. There are also several more inexpensive hotels to choose from.

Springhill Suites by Marriot is a newer, more modern hotel in the area. Unfortunately we were unable to secure a discounted block with them, but you are welcome to book with them on your own.

Flight

SDF Louisville Airport

The Louisville airport is small and very easy to navigate. It is close to home, about a 45 minute drive from Elizabethtown. It is a good option if you are departing from or connecting in another U.S. city.

CVG Cincinnati/ N. Kentucky International Airport

CVG is a decent sized airport with regular flights from Europe and other major cities. CVG is 2 - 2.5 hours by car to Elizabethtown.

Nashville is the Country Music Capital of the USA! It's the largest airport in our vicinity. It is 2-2.5 hours from Elizabethtown by car.
