Emma and Max first met in February 2019 at the College of the Holy Cross Biology 163 lab. Soon after, they formed a study group. After hours of studying flora and fauna slides, Max started to come out of his shell and Emma realized she wanted to spend more time with him. Quickly that spring semester became a semester of study dates, Emma cheering Max on at his soccer matches and a first date at Cool Licks Ice Cream. These simple, genuine moments developed into a beautiful relationship. After graduation, two years of Max in Colorado and Emma in Boston, two trips to Hungary where Emma met Max’s family, two years of living together in Boston and now living in Somerville - this is where the story picks up. Max proposed to Emma at Strawberry Hill, Ipswich, MA in April 2025. A moment that celebrated their love and started the most exciting chapter of their story yet.
