What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see you dressed to celebrate! The dress code is formal/ black-tie optional. For gentlemen, a suit and tie or a tuxedo. For ladies, an elegant midi-length or floor-length gown is appropriate. Please avoid short cocktail dresses or casual attire (also kindly avoid wearing butter yellow as the bridesmaids will be wearing it). Thank you for helping us make our wedding day feel elegant and intentional!

Where do I park at the venue?

The Colony Club has reserved parking inside the Comerica Garage right next door to the club. Show the QR code above for entry.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will state if a plus one is included. Due to space, we kindly ask that you only bring a guest if your invite specifies it.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

We love your little ones, but are not allowing children under 18 to attend the wedding unless previously approved.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive to the church 15 minutes before the start time.

What are my meal options?

Answer

Everyone will be served a salad course with bread: House salad with mixed greens, carrot, cucumber, grape tomato, watermelon radish, house vinaigrette. Guests will have the option between four meals: Herb Roasted Chicken (Gluten Free, Nut Free)- Chicken breast marinated with balsamic vinegar, dijon, honey, lemon and garlic. Topped with a chicken jus and accompanied by mashed potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables. Filet Mignon (Gluten Free, Nut Free)- Char-grilled to a medium temperature. Topped with herbed compound butter and served with mashed potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables. Eggplant Napoleon (Vegetarian)- Lightly breaded rounds of eggplant layered with roasted zucchini, yellow squash, roasted red pepper, sauteed spinach, provolone and swiss cheeses. Topped with tomato sauce and served with linguine pasta. Cauliflower Steak (Gluten Free, Vegan)- Spiced and roasted cauliflower steak, served with lentil quinoa salad, roasted asparagus and harissa.
