Kyle and Margaret met in a business class at Divine Child High School in 2017. Having a few mutual friends, they went to the Sadie Hawkin's dance together that winter and prom later that spring. Their first date in high school was at a Leo's Coney Island over breakfast for dinner. Referred to as each other's "first real love," the two dated for several months before going their separate ways when Margaret went off to college in the fall of 2018. They remained friends throughout their years at college (often returning back to Leo's for catch-ups) and now looking back, are firm believers that there was an invisible string that kept bringing them together. Margaret moved home from Chicago and Kyle from Bowling Green in the summer of 2023. As they were finally both in the same place at the same time, they began seeing each other again and have been inseparable since. Though their love story is not a linear one, it's illustrated that God brings your person to you when the timing is finally right.
