Question
Where should I stay?
Answer
We thank you for traveling to celebrate with us! We have hotel blocks at the AmericInn and Holiday Inn as these are the closest hotels to the venue (~20 minutes). These rooms are blocked off and available to reserve until July 2nd, 2025. We have limited rooms at each hotel so it will be first come first serve. But there are a handful of other hotels in the area for you to choose from! These can all be found on the travel page on our website.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. If you have any questions regarding a plus one, please reach out to the bride or groom as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding!

Are young kids welcome?
Answer
While we would love to see your kiddos, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adult-only event with the exception of our family members. We appreciate your understanding!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! There will be no dress code but we highly recommend semi-formal or dressy casual attire. This could include dresses, dressy skirt and blouse, pantsuit, dress shirt and slacks. Suit jacket and tie are optional. No denim please!

What will the weather be like?

July in Nebraska will most likely be hot and humid. We will have plenty of cold drinks and air conditioning available!

What if I have a dietary restriction?
Answer
We will be having a buffet style dinner, so hopefully everyone will be able to compile a meal that meets their needs! When you RSVP, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?
Answer
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception will be held at The Acreage, so no need for travel between events. There is plenty of parking available on site.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
Our ceremony will be an unplugged event! We will kindly ask all guests to put their phones away and enjoy being in the moment with us. We've hired an amazing wedding photographer who will be capturing our special day and we want to allow her to take uninterrupted shots. We invite our guests to sit back, relax, and just enjoy how the wedding feels. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, we encourage you to take as many pictures as you would like!

Is there an open bar? Cash or card?
Answer
Yes! The drinks will be on us (until 10pm) but the hangover will be on you! We will provide a selection of beer, seltzer, wine, and liquor. Guests under the age of 21 can enjoy our selection of soft drinks and lemonade. The bar will be cashless so card payment only!

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please kindly RSVP by June 16th, 2025. If you cannot attend, please indicate your regrets so we can plan accordingly!

Where can I find your wedding registry?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you're considering a gift, we would be honored if you would contribute to our exciting adventure. In lieu of a traditional registry, we've decided to create a honeymoon fund. Your generous contributions will help us create unforgettable memories! Our destination is St Lucia! You can contribute directly from the Zola wesbite via Venmo (100% of the funds will go to us) on the Registry page. If you would like to contribute cash/check, those will be accepted on our wedding day or via mail.
