Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. Please arrive about 15 minutes in advance so guests can get settled before the ceremony begins. For guests staying at Seaview, the Centennial Pavilion is a short five-minute walk from the main hotel lobby.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal: Suit and tie (or even just a jacket and slacks) for men; cocktail dresses and jumpsuits for women.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be under a covered pavilion but outdoors, with cocktail hour also being outdoors. For the reception, the party will head indoors into Seaview's Bayview Ballroom.

Question

Is parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, Seaview has its own parking lot and valet parking will also be available for guests.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love all of the children in our lives, our wedding will be an adults-only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy a night off!

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, feel free to note this when sending back your RSVP card. If it's easier, you can also reach out to Alex via email at adskillin1@gmail.com with any dietary concerns.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We're looking forward to a fun party!

Question

Is there a hotel room block for guests at Seaview?

Answer

Yes, we have a room block set aside for our guests. You can book via phone at 855-894-8698 or online here: https://book.passkey.com/event/50126152/owner/10809/home

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests don't take photos or videos during our ceremony. We'll have photographers and videographers recording every wonderful moment for memory's sake!

Question

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

Please reply using the RSVP cards included with your wedding invitation.

Question

What's the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by September 3 at the latest.

Answer

We compiled a list of our favorite things to do in the area for guests from out of town here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/skillinlovewithyou/poi

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Seeing everyone in person will be enough of a present, but if you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Question

What's your wedding hashtag?

Answer

It's been hard to decide but our two favorites are #skillinlovewithyou and #merisgotskills.
