Now! Head over to the RSVP tab and let us know if you're planning to make it! We completely understand and respect your comfort level during these COVID times. Just keep us posted!
As of now, Maryland is allowing events at 50% capacity (150 guests max) and masks are required. Our venue is outdoors, under a tent, so we will be in fresh air the whole time! We ask that you take every precaution to ensure that you don't bring COVID to our celebration— whether that means you've gotten the vaccine, taken a test before travel, or isolated for the week prior. We want to make sure our families and friends leave the celebration in great health after a fun weekend! We will be sending out reminders before the event to all guests to remind that the isolation period is beginning and if you do anything deemed risky by the CDC, we ask that you take a test to ensure that you aren't infected without symptoms. If there's any risk that you could have COVID, please stay home. We'll miss you, but the health and safety of our family and friends is our first priority.
The venue is completely outdoors and there is a ton of space for social distancing. The ceremony will be outdoors at the venue, followed by cocktail hour, and the full reception. Dinner: Tables are under the open-air tent and will be placed 6 feet apart with 6 people per table. Tables will be assigned based on comfort and please keep us posted with any questions. We've worked with our caterer on the COVID-friendly precautions and all meals will be plated. Water will be self-serve at the bar. Dancing: We have an awesome band that we plan on dancing the night away to. We'll abide by all social distancing and mask-wearing guidelines.
Frederick, MD is one hour from each of the nearby airports! Search WAS when looking up flights to include all airports in your search. DCA is the Ronald Reagan National Airport, closest airport to DC. IAD- Dulles Airport is about 30-45 minutes west of DC. BWI is the Baltimore Airport.
As much as we love your kids, we don't have the capacity for all of them! Also, we want you to have a night out on the town kid-free!
We're looking at an average in the 50s, so bring a jacket and keep your fingers crossed! :)
1- Drive over! This is the most flexible option. There is plenty of parking and cars can be left overnight! 2- We'll have a shuttle that will be able to take some people to and from the venue. Let us know if you're interested in this! 3- Uber/Lyft! Really easy to catch one, and only 15 minutes from the hotel to the venue!
