Waterfront Trail
Try this 22.0-km out-and-back trail near Burlington, Ontario. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 57 min to complete. This is a very popular area for backpacking, birding, and road biking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Connecting Hamilton and Burlington by trail, this is a very nice and easy, extremely popular, mostly paved trail along Lake Ontario. You'll pass many historic sites like the Brant House, Lift Bridge, and Hamilton's Beaches community. If you have extra time, folks recommend getting out to the end of the piers to have a great view of the bridges.
