We are getting married!

We’re beyond excited to share the news of our upcoming wedding! On the long weekend of August 31st, 2025, we’ll be celebrating this special day at the Burlington Convention Centre, and we couldn’t be happier to have you all join us. Each of you has played a part in shaping our relationship, and we feel incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you by our side! We created this website to answer any questions you might have, and to help our out-of-town guests find things to do, places to stay, and any extra details you might need as we approach the big day. Our story began in one of the most unexpected times—during the Covid pandemic in 2021. In the midst of the lockdown, when the world slowed down, we found something special in each other. Every night, as we said goodbye, we couldn’t help but make sure we’d be seeing each other again the next day, if at all possible. It was in those quiet, simple moments that we truly realized how much we enjoyed each other’s company. The more time we spent together, the more we discovered how much we had in common. From our values to our quirks, everything just seemed to fall into place. When we met each other’s families, it confirmed why we shared those same values. We were both raised in loving, caring families, with siblings who have accompanied and guided us through life. We grew up knowing that family is our inspiration and foundation—everything just clicked into place perfectly. After four years filled with unforgettable restaurant dates, road trips, vacations, and lots of pasta and pizza, James decided to surprise Sara with the most magical moment of all—his proposal at Disney World. It was the perfect end to a day filled with delicious food, thrilling rides, and plenty of laughs. And in that magical place, surrounded by the joy we share, he asked the most important question of our lives. Now, with the love and support of our friends, family, and our beloved dog Romeo, we’re excited to plan and share the beginning of this beautiful new chapter. We are so thankful to have all of you in our lives, and we can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you!
