Tucson Botanical Gardens

Fun for a more relaxed and close excursion! Enjoy the plentiful flora and peaceful nature walks at this Tucson staple attraction.

Old Tucson

Visit this iconic Tucson scene for a taste of the Old Wild West. John Wayne, among other legendary western actors of the day, shot several films here!

Mission San Xavier del Bac

Mission San Xavier del Bac is a historic Spanish Catholic mission located about 10 miles south of downtown Tucson, Arizona, on the Tohono O'odham San Xavier Indian Reservation.

International Wildlife Museum

This museum highlights over 400 species of taxidermied insects, mammals, and birds from around the globe. Some of the collections are more than 100 years old and all the animals were donated by various government agencies. This is an excellent opportunity to see animals up close and gain a better understanding of their adaptive characteristics, habitats and conservations issues.

Reid Park Zoo

Travel from South America to the Asian Rainforest and then to the African Savannah in one day. Explore beautiful habitats housing hundreds of exotic animals from around the world. The zoo is a hidden gem, nestled in the center of Tucson and is the perfect place to enjoy time outside while discovering the wonders of wildlife. This is a small zoo and can be done in half a day’s time.

Picacho Peak State Park

This is the Place!!! At the pinnacle of this steep peak, Amber said yes to Sabastian's proposal to be sealed for all eternity. It will forever be a landmark symbol of commitment, love, and dedication in our lives.

Kartchner Caverns State Park

Kartchner Caverns State Park features a show cave with 2.4 miles of passages! The park is located 9 miles south of the town of Benson and west of the north-flowing San Pedro River.

Tombstone

Tombstone is a throwback to the days of the Old West. Main Street had been kept relatively similar to that of the days of the 1800’s. The famous OK Corral where the Earp’s and Doc Holiday killed three members of the Clanton Gang, is downtown and, of course, a historical highlight. Other points of interest and Boot Hill Graveyard and the Courthouse State Historical Park. There are minimal costs to enter some of the museums there, but you can walk the streets for free.

Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Aircraft Boneyard

Davis-Monthan AFB's role in the storage of military aircraft began after World War II, and continues today. It has evolved into "the largest aircraft boneyard in the world".

Sabino Canyon
