HER STORY: We (technically) met at a FHE. I noticed a guy there I hadn't seen before wearing a Reed's Dairy t-shirt. Me being the connoisseur of chocolate milk that I am, knew that Reed's Dairy has the best chocolate milk in the world! This guy obviously had impeccable taste. I was going on a group hike that Saturday, so I invited him to climb Picacho Peak with us! Little did I know that on that hike, I would find out that we got along so well! He was so kind and thoughtful and we could talk for hours! (In fact we did!) I knew I had to get to know him better, and the rest is history. HIS STORY: Okay, let's rewind a little bit. Before Reed's Dairy and Picacho Peak, there was a LEGEND. I had just moved into the area, and according to the other guys at church, there was a girl that was apparently, "the cutest girl in the world". She was also single. Oh, and untouchable, they said. They had all tried! I wanted to meet this girl, and I hadn't even seen her yet! It just so happens, and this is the real truth, that at church that day I saw a certain girl. I thought to myself, "I wonder if THAT'S Amber..." Guess what? It was. From there, I introduced myself at FHE and, needing friends, promptly invited myself a group hike that Amber would be attending. "Where are you going this weekend?" My parents asked, to which I responded, "Hiking, with the cutest girl in the world!"
This regaling tale takes us back to the summit of Picacho Peak, where our heroes braved the mountain once again. Having travailed through perilous rocky passes, confronting deadly giant centipedes and a fearless squirrel, they arrived at long last at the peak. After a celebration of their great victory, they sat to look out at the stunning vista when Sabastian turned to Amber and said he had a surprise for her. Out of the bag came our Adventure Book (Watch UP for the reference). It was filled with a story about a boy and girl who fell in love, our story. On the last page was a picture and the most important question they would ever face. She looked up, and there he was, on one knee. And thus their forever began....
