Please RSVP by 5th April 2026 so we can get all our plans neatly tied up and start getting excited to celebrate with you. And even if you can’t make it, please still send an RSVP marked “not attending” because knowing either way really helps us get everything just right.
After you've RSVP-ed yes, our planner will collect all the information to allow you to have the best experience throughout the weekend. The booking form will ask you which events you are coming to and how we can best prepare. For example, will you join the optional wine tasting, or if you need transport home after the party and any important dietaries. It will also collect your accommodation details so that our evening shuttle can get you home in one piece. We kindly ask that you don't fill this out until you've sorted out your accommodation so we can collect the info in one go. If you make a mistake or need to speak to our planner to amend your details, you can email him at: duncan@chateaurigaud.com
Please arrive for 2:30 pm at Chateau Rigaud, so you can be sat down by 3pm for the ceremony to start.
We would love our celebration to feel elegant, joyful and a little bit glamorous, so we kindly ask guests to dress formal. Think beautifully tailored suits with ties for gentlemen, and cocktail dresses or flowing gowns for ladies.
We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but to keep our wedding intimate, we’re only able to invite those addressed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.
Yes, when you arrive at the Chateau please park in the field just outside the main gate. They do not allow vehicles into the grounds on the day of the wedding. Transport has been arranged to carry you home and will run until 2am. You’re welcome to leave cars in the field at Rigaud on the night of the wedding. Please be aware that the drink driving laws in France are fierce and random checks take place during the summer, even on quieter roads.
To ensure everyone gets home safely, we've arranged minibus shuttles from the château to any guest accommodation located within 15 minutes (as per Google Maps). Shuttles run until 2am on the night of the wedding. Every address must be confirmed in the RSVP form, so please do not finalise your RSVP until you know your accommodation (or email: duncan@chateaurigaud.co.uk)
Your presence truly is the greatest gift and we feel very lucky to be celebrating with you. If you would like to give something, we have created a honeymoon fund to help us make some special memories together. You can find the details on the Registry tab.
We’ve picked September because it is known to be a beautiful month in Saint‑Émilion with average highs around 23°C and lows around 12°C. Most of our events should be outdoors so you can enjoy the vineyards and sunshine but please bring a light jacket or cardigan for the evenings. And if it does rain, which they say is good luck for weddings, don’t worry we have plenty of charming covered options to keep the day magical.
We’d love for you to be fully present during the ceremony, so we kindly ask no photos or phones while we’re saying our vows. The rest of the day is yours to capture and enjoy — there will be plenty of opportunities for photos, selfies, and sharing memories once the ceremony is over.
