Wine Tasting (Grands Crus Classés)

We will be putting on an optional wine tasting at one of our favourite Chateaus in the region, Chateau Soutard. We will be trying 3 of their Grands Crus Classés wines. If enough people join this we will also look at doing lunch at their restaurant, Le Jardin. The venue is a 5-8 mins walk into St. Emillion. The cost for this will be approximately €30pp and so we ask that you please register to attend when you do the Booking form.

Join us on Friday evening for a relaxed apéritif set in one of Saint-Émilion’s most charming spots. Cloitre des Cordelier is a historic former monastery tucked among the vineyards, now known for its elegant crémant. The setting is outdoors on the lawn, with plenty of space to enjoy a glass, wander, and take in the surroundings. We’ll be serving traditional grazing boards (think saucissons and cheeses) accompanied by the finest monk's crémant to ease everyone into the weekend. The evening will finish at 8 pm, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy dinner afterwards. We’ve shared a list of our favourite local restaurants to help you make the most of your first night in the area.

THE BIG DAY The wedding ceremony will take place at Chateau Rigaud at 3pm so please arrive by 2:30pm. Following the vows, we will move into a canape & cocktail hours filled with delicious bites and sparkling drinks. Chateau Rigaud can be found on the D130 between Pujols and Ste Radegonde and it is signed from the village of Mouliets. Just search for Chateau Rigaud, Mouliets et Villemartin on Google/Apple maps.
Dinner
6:30 pm
Dinner and speeches will begin around 6:30pm, with the meal finishing at about 9:30pm. We are so excited to have Head Chef, John Grabecki, who has trained in classical French cuisine with both the Galvin Brothers and Roux Brothers in London, and then at three Michelin starred Attica in Melbourne serve a three course meal.

After dinner we'll head into the barn to continue the celebrations with live music until midnight, followed by a DJ carrying us through to 2 am. Expect great music, plenty of drinks and lots of dancing.

Recovery Lunch & Pool Party

On Sunday we'll ease into the day with a relaxed poolside lunch from around midday, as everyone wanders in looking just a touch worn from the night before. Expect a laid-back afternoon with slow-roast meats, quiche and Ottolenghi style salads. There will be plenty of garden games to keep things lively, and of course, a steady flow of rose to keep the party going! Please bring your own pool towel !!
