We’re Getting Married!!!!

We met in 2008 in college while both attending University of Wisconsin - Platteville. We went out on 2nd Street (the bar scene) with mutual friends one weekend, and those friends introduced us. We began talking. We started hanging out with our friends more often going out to play pool or darts and for dinner and drinks. Then summer break came. We both went back to our hometowns, worked, and enjoyed summer break. We talked a few times through Facebook messenger. We exchanged phone numbers, and met back up when we went back to Platteville for the next school year. We started texting each other and hanging out almost every day after school. We became "Facebook official" September 18, 2008, and the rest is history!

We went on a vacation to Europe for the first time for both of us. We visited Italy for two weeks at the end of August to the beginning of September 2022! We went to Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, and Venice. Our favorite city that we visited was definitely Florence! The food, wine, and sights were AMAZING! While we were on vacation, Josh proposed in Rome the night before we flew home in our Airbnb. Josh had more "romantic" ideas for the proposal, but they did not work out as planned (lost on a hiking trail and wild boars will do it lol). It's the thought that counts! It was the best vacation EVER, and will be very hard to top!
