We both moved to Colorado in 2022 and separately found our way to Citius Run Club. After Chris introduced himself by jumping into Dani's conversation about books, we slowly began running every Friday morning breakfast club together as friends. It took Ben emailing Dani a training plan with an added note that "Chris is very clearly into you" for her to realize the flirting wasn't all in her head.
From there, there was a pseudo date that led to a birthday party that led to a first kiss that led to an official first date. Two years later, Chris proposed while hiking on our anniversary at the Boulder overlook where he had first said "I love you."
Now we couldn't be more thrilled to share the next step in our adventure with you.
