Please dress in black-tie optional attire (aka fancy but flexible). For men, this could be suits or tuxedos. For women, a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit are all great options.
Both! The ceremony will take place outdoors in a covered pavilion and cocktail hour will be on the grass lawn. The reception will be indoors in the original Black Canyon Inn Homestead cabin.
August in Estes Park is typically mild, expect mid-60s to low-70s. Colorado weather is known for being unpredictable though - a light jacket is always a good idea.
Estes Park is at 7,523ft. For our out-of-town guests, alcohol can have a stronger effect here. We recommend drinking lots of water and taking it easy on your first day in town. Remember one at altitude can feel like two at sea level!
Parking is available at The Homestead at Black Canyon Inn with 50 designated spaces on site, plus access to an additional gravel lot for overflow. If you park in the overflow lot, there will be a golf cart shuttle service starting at 2:45pm. If you don't want to drive, you can also reserve shuttle services like Explore Estes (link in the "Travel" section).
No! Estes Park and our venue is outside RMNP. You will only need a timed-entry permit and pass/day ticket if you wish to visit the park.
Renting a car will be the easiest option to get to/from DIA and around Estes Park but is not your only option. Shuttles can be scheduled from DIA and for transportation around Estes Park (we've included links in the "Travel" section).
