FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

A formal invitation will be sent out in December 2021. We ask that you RSVP by March 1, 2022. Note: you must be fully vaccinated! And if you know you can come for sure, you can text/email us, and we'll follow up with you as we get closer!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire for the ceremony and reception! Suits, dressy jumpsuits, cocktail dresses, and the like are welcome. For more info, look here: https://www.brides.com/semi-formal-wedding-attire-4800687

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Limited parking is available at the reception. For the church, you'll have to rely on garages or the street. This is New York, after all!

Question

Can I bring a date or my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, seating at the the Lighthouse is hard capped. We can only accommodate those whose names are on the invitation.

Question

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

The 10-year average for April 23 in New York was around the late-50s, potentially dipping to the 40s by the evening. A light jacket or shawl may be necessary. The reception venue is indoors but is also on the Hudson River and we may open the windows depending on how nice it is. Please also note that the day starts at 3pm but ends at 12:30am!

Question

Still have another question?

Answer

Don't be afraid to ask us! We want to make all of the logistics of having you spend our special day with us as easy as possible, so we have a wedding email just for this purpose: kellysullivanwedding@gmail.com
