While we love the kids, this event is intended for adults only. *HOWEVER, we realize making accommodations for the kiddos may sometimes prove to be difficult, so childcare will be provided. If you need to bring your child or children, we will have a childcare worker from our church available to pickup the kids up and take them to the family life center located down the street at our church campus (Covenant, Colleyville campus). Child care will be provided from 5:30pm-9:00pm (from beginning until end of the reception.) For a smoother process please let us know ahead of time if you will be taking advantage of these services. Our reception is equipped with a tailored seating chart, so last minute adjustments will not be allowed and may result in undesirable conditions. If this request proves to be a task, please reach out to the contacts provided ASAP to work towards a resolution.
Most of you know Jerry as "Jerry Adams". Adams is his mothers last name. In order to carry on the Shepherd name, Jerry will be changing his last name to his father's last name "Shepherd". So in likely fashion, LaDasha will follow suit as Mrs. Shepherd.
Of course! If you're inclined to want something beyond whats available, its best to bring money in case a cash bar becomes an option.
For efficiency purposes, dinner options have already been chosen. Your meal will include a protein and two sides, with something included for every diet and common preference. If you have concerns about the selection, please reach out to the contact provided and further details will be disclosed.
Unfortunately no outside food or drink will be permitted. We have worked very hard to ensure the atmosphere will come equipped with everything you'll need to have a great time. Security will be present, and deviance may result in fines or extra fees for the bride and groom, so please be mindful of the guidelines.
As previously mentioned on this site, the wedding is set to start promptly at 3:00pm, with each event promptly to follow. While we understand many of you are traveling from out of town, we do have the venue booked for a limited amount of time. We have strategically selected the start time to be mindful of those coming into town, and the end time to cater to those heading out afterwards. Please do not rely on any delays.
