Jerry and I met while working at Farmers Insurance in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Hired into the claims department within a week from one another, we crossed each others path quite frequently. One day he asked "why do you wear heels everyday?" and the rest is history. It took me a good two months to realize he was actually interested beyond just being friendly. He asked for my number (on company email) and we caught a movie after work. Seemingly inseparable since then, after we ran our course at Farmers, Jerry wanted to move back to Texas for a bigger job market and to be closer to his family, and asked me to go with him. I stepped out on faith and followed him south, taking a job in North Dallas. A proposal rolled in just under a year of moving to Texas, and here we are!
