We are going to have a dedicated cook that will be at our house! He will be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Amritsar has many great restaurants, but if you want to save money, you're welcome to eat at home! In terms of water, keep in mind that this is still an underdeveloped country, so please do NOT drink any tap water or water you are not sure where it came from. Bottled water should be fine. At our house, the cook will continuously boil water, so it's advisable to bring your own flasks to fill up on site. The same goes for food: if the dish is served with water and it is not a hot dish, do NOT eat it.

https://pin.it/72cawXax5 For all ladies, on the wedding day specifically the outfits that are one piece that cover your body is acceptable. For other party days, the two piece outfits are acceptable. For the Men: Please bring a bandana! To enter any Gurdwara (Temple) you must have your head covered. For the Women: Please bring a Dupatta or a scarf to enter any Gurdwara. You can also buy one in India, would only be a couple of dollars.

On Monday and Tuesday, there are not any big events happening with the exception of the henna for the women. I will be able to take you guys around. Lot of the week is spent at the house drinking, eating, and dancing. After the Maiyan on Thursday, I wont be allowed to leave the house until the wedding week is complete. Of course, you will have your own driver and transportation and will be able to go wherever you wish :)
