Most New Yorkers love their coffee & bagel so it was no surprise that we met on the Coffee Meets Bagel app. However, Simon was living in Michigan at the time but had his setting set to find a girl in NYC. Thankfully Steph avoided a "Catfish" situation since you're reading this story on our wedding website. Simon eventually came to NYC where we had our first date in Brooklyn Bridge Park and will be exchanging our vows in September with you!

3 years and 9 months later we returned back to where it all began, Brooklyn Bridge Park. What would have been a typical Saturday afternoon walk into the city turned out to be a surprise mini-concert down by the water where we had our first date. Steph was trying to leave the area because she thought we were interrupting someone else's' proposal until she heard the band play "All My Life" by K-Ci & JoJo. This is the song that we danced to every time Simon left to go back to Michigan during our long distance years. Once Steph realized all of this was for her, Simon got down on one knee and popped the question and Steph obviously said "Yes!" (finally)
