Yes! You are more than welcome to bring your own drinks for Friday night. The braai is meant to be relaxed and personal, and we’d love for you to enjoy the evening exactly the way you like.
Semi-formal attire in earthy, Karoo-inspired tones: Chocolate browns Olive greens Dusty browns Yellows These colours will beautifully complement the landscape and create the warm, natural look we love.
Our ceremony will take place in the veld, something we’ve always dreamed of. Afterwards: Canapés will be served outside. The reception will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces.
As much as we adore all the little ones in our lives, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate children at the venue. This will be an adult only celebration, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
Yes! Sweetfontein offers a range of beautiful rooms and 4 glamping tents. Capacity is limited to 62 guests, so please RSVP as soon as possible so we can help allocate rooms fairly and according to budget preferences. As well as whether or not we need to arrange accommodation around the farm and guests can take a shuttle (there is another house that sleeps 6 approximately 10km away)
This is a full weekend celebration, just the way we love to travel. Friday: Arrival + veld braai under the stars Saturday: Wedding day (complimentary breakfast; ceremony starts at 3:30 PM) Sunday: Farewell breakfast
From Cape Town, the drive is around 7 hours, and it’s a beautiful, adventurous route. You can also fly to Kimberley and drive approximately 3 hours from there, but the venue recommends driving due to possible flight delays. If a group would like to travel together, a shared shuttle is a great idea.
This varies - you are more than welcome to have a look on their website to get an idea. However as a wedding group, we get the accommodation at a slightly cheaper rate and will advise accordingly.
