For ages we searched for a wedding venue that truly felt like us. We visited beautiful places, explored countless options, and kept hoping for that unmistakable moment when everything inside us would say, “This is the one.” But nothing ever quite captured that feeling until Sweetfontein. The day we arrived at Sweetfontein, something shifted. The moment we stepped onto the property, we both felt it, the goosebumps, the calm, the certainty. It was the immediate yes we had been waiting for. Since 2020, the Karoo has held some of our most treasured memories. It’s the place where we’ve escaped to and found peace together. Over the years, we would often say, “One day this is where we want to get married.” Finding Sweetfontein was the dream we had been hoping comes true. We’ve found our dream place, and we can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Now, all that’s missing is sharing this special moment with the people we love most.
