This airport is the closest airport but is smaller than Milan. Delta offers flights to Bologna airport. This airport is about 40 minutes away from the wedding venue. We would highly recommend checking out ITA Airways at itaspa.com. They are partnered with delta and half the cost! Also, check out flights to Amsterdam using points, there are great options to use points through Amsterdam. You can then book a separate flight to Italy; flights within Europe are very affordable.

Milan is the nearest major airport in the region and most airlines offer flights here. The train or driving from this airport is about 2 hours away from the wedding venue. This is a recommended hotel for our wedding and we have organized accommodation for anyone who wants to stay here for a discounted rate. Most people are staying here! You are welcome to stay at any hotel that you want, but this is the closest hotel to our venue and is just 5 minutes away. We will organize transportation to and from the hotel on the day of the wedding. Rooms start at €80 per night with the discounted group rate. Breakfast is included. Car Rentals

To make the most of your time in Italy, we would recommend renting a car if you want to spend time in less common places in Italy. With smartphones, you can drive anywhere and our wedding venue is about a 30-minute drive outside of Modena. Just make sure you request an automatic transmission if you're not comfortable driving a manual from your car rental company! Manual cars are standard. *There is parking at the wedding venue.

Train

Trains in Italy

Trains in Italy are a fantastic way to get around. Trains can pretty much get you anywhere that you want to go, especially if you are visiting larger cities in Italy while you are here. If you are only going to stay in main cities during your stay, you can take trains everywhere, and you will just need to get a taxi to the wedding venue. You can get a taxi from the train station to the hotel for the wedding, and other than that, trains can pretty much get you where you need to go. Uber is not available in Modena, but it is available in the other big cities. You can buy tickets online for Trein Italia or Italo and have the tickets on your phone in English.
