World famous museum in the heart of New Center, Detroit. A beautiful way to spend a day or just to go get coffee and sit in the garden.

Wonderful, eccentric modern art museum in Midtown. A favorite museum of Marli and Simon to bring out of towners to.

Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit

Take a guided tour to learn a history of Motown Music and see an unbelievable amount of history that inspired music across the world and get to step into Studio A itself! You need to book a time to go but reservations are easy to come by.

Located in the heart of downtown, Campus Martius Park is the home to open gardens, food trucks, and an ice rink in the winter months. The Detroit riverwalk is just a stones throw away where you can walk along the Detroit skyline.

A favorite dinner spot for Marli and Simon. Highly recommend the Chicken Wings and Prawns but literally everything on the menu is amazing.  Found right in Southwest Detroit!

A Detroit favorite for baked goods, coffee, and lunch in the West Village neighborhood. Definitely try their Salted Maple or savory hand pies!

Batch Brewing Company is a great place to spend time with hand-crafted beers and games. You could regularly find Marli and Simon on their patio on a Friday night after work enjoying their blood orange beer!

Looking for some late night dancing? You can generally find Marli and Simon here on weekends in Detroit dancing the night away to house and techno.
