Just before Christmas 2022, an online chat turned into a first date at a cosy bar in Bethnal Green. Pete chose it, and it just happened to specialise in his favourite drink, whisky. Whether it was his charm, some well-honed sales techniques, or the whisky working its magic, there was an instant spark. Since then, we’ve shared sushi dinners, spontaneous trips and board game nights that have tested our competitive streaks.
