The Henry Doorly Zoo is one of the best in the world. With the world's largest indoor desert and the largest indoor rainforest in North America. Jason and I have had a zoo membership through our relationship and do not visit enough. With more than 7 acres of indoor exhibits, Omaha's Zoo must visit when in town.
This is Beth's domain. If the weather is nice, grab yourself a coffee and enjoy the huge patio. If you choose to visit on a Sunday during the summer, grab a coffee to head a block South to the Omaha Farmer's Market. Either way, grab a coffee.
This outdoor park has been updated with playgrounds, a skate ribbon, an amphitheater and more. If you are interested in a stroll downtown followed by a bite to eat, we recommend heading to La Buvette which is just a block South.
The Luminarium is a place for everyone to explore the astonishing phenomena that shape our world, our communities, and ourselves. The newest addition to the River Front includes a fabulous restaurant named Fig (listed below) - which is a top ten lunch spot in Omaha.
