Silvie & J.P.'s Wedding
Our Story
Silvie and J.P. first met at a sculpture workshop at Anderson Ranch, an art center in Aspen, Colorado. There, they learned to make life casts or molds of their body parts. Just friends, at the end of the workshop, J.P. gave Silvie a parting gift -- a sculpture he had made of the negative space of his legs, which she hung on her wall for years. Four years later, they reconnected and have been together ever since. Though the sculpture has since broken, their hearts have not!
This is the sculpture that J.P. gave to Silvie at Anderson Ranch. The night before he moved in with her, it fell off the wall and shattered. Its work was done.
