June 1, 2025. Keep in mind, summer is high season in Santa Cruz and we encourage you to book lodging early. If you would like our help arranging accommodations, please let us know by May 15th.
Arrive at 3 pm (no earlier, please) and join us for a welcome drink; the ceremony is a short walk up the hill from the Barn and will begin at 3:30 pm.
Parking for all guests will be in Lot 116, which is dedicated and free for the wedding. Directions: From Highway 1 North, continue as it becomes Mission Street through Santa Cruz. Turn right onto Bay Street and follow it to the main UCSC campus entrance. Once you enter the campus, continue on Bay Street as it becomes Coolidge Drive. Turn right at the first traffic light into Lot 116. You’ll see a sign for the “Hay Barn Event.” After parking, it’s a 5-minute walk. Exit the parking lot to the crosswalk and walk across Coolidge Drive. Follow the pedestrian path on your left. Veer to your left and follow the Hay Barn Event sign. The Cowell Ranch Hay Barn will then be on your right. Please note that overnight parking is not recommended.
Summer cocktail attire. Think midi-length dresses, chic pants or a jumpsuit, ties and jackets, or a nice button-down shirt and slacks. Footwear should be comfortable for some walking, uneven surfaces, and lots of dancing! Bright colors are encouraged.

Our event goes until 10 pm. If you think children would have fun at our celebration, feel free to bring them!
There will be an open bar with beer and wine.
The ceremony is a short walk up a hill to an ocean-view meadow. A shuttle is available for those who request a ride in advance.
Join us for drinks, farm-to-table dining, and dancing to an amazing soul band! The festivities will end at 10 pm. Still want to party? Join us for an after-party at the Deutsch home, 111 Lisa Court, a 5-minute drive from the Barn.
Free street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood, and you’re also welcome to park for free in the New Leaf grocery store parking lot across the street from Stockwell. Please do not park in the Verve/Bantam lot next door to Stockwell, as it’s reserved for their businesses.
