Travel Note
The Dolomites is a National Park located across the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno. What's unique about this place is that it's wedged between Austria and Italy, so you will see more than one name for each location as well as more than one language. This place is in the heart of the Alps, which means the closest airport will be about 2 hours away. It's very easy to move around in a car and it's extremely well connected to major hubs, including airports in Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Even though you can choose to use public transportation, we highly recommend renting a car.

There are several airports you can fly into, but the closest one is Venice.
