Located 6-blocks from the ceremony venue. Grab a slice or a whole pie to go after the ceremony. There is no seating available, but the pizza is amazing. Fold and hold!

Gioia Pizzeria: San Francisco

Located 5-blocks from the ceremony venue. A cute tropically-inspired cocktail bar in Hayes Valley with a heated outdoor patio. We visited this place a couple times while ring shopping.

ANINA

Located 9-blocks from the reception venue. We went to this bar on our first date and for some of our engagement photos. Features an outdoor space, rooftop lounge, beer, and cocktails.

Mad Oak Bar ‘N’ Yard

Oakland's only wood-fired bakery. Delicious bread, pastries, and Oakland's Red Bay coffee. Located 8 blocks from the reception venue.

Firebrand Artisan Breads

From burgers to brussels sprouts, there’s something for every taste. This place serves brunch and dinner with a patio view of the lake.

Portal

Full-service restaurant with 32 beers on tap. The crown jewel of the beautiful space is a grand open-air beer garden, featuring fire pits.

Drake's Dealership

Connected to our reception venue, atop a five-story garage that’s part of the Kaiser Center is three acres of greenery and a reflecting pond. It’s a nice place to take in the sunny Oakland weather.

Kaiser Rooftop Garden

The jewel of Oakland! Walk the 3.4-mile loop or ride one of the authentic Venetian gondolas.

Lake Merritt

We visit this truck frequently and is our favorite food truck for birria tacos! Ask for the Red Tacos with a side of consomé. The birria ramen is also a good choice for hangovers.

La Santa Torta

Hungover? Check out one of our favorite breakfast spots. They're known for The Demon Lover (aka chicken & waffles). Try it with the gravy and syrup!
