FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kayla Sikhamsouk and Eric Shoup
Question

How and when should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 17th! To do so, click the RSVP tab on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as “attending” or “not attending.” We will be sending our final headcount to our vendors following this deadline.

Question

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Answer

We have soooo many amazing kiddos in our lives! While we love your little ones as much as we love you, due to capacity limitations we are only able to include children of family. Unless specified on your invitation, we appreciate you making childcare arrangements ahead of time. We hope you take this kid-free opportunity to drink, dance, and hoot and holler with all of our favourite people!

Question

Can I bring an additional guest?

Answer

We love that you would like to share our special day with your special someone. Unfortunately, we are limited by our venue’s capacity. We are unable to accommodate additional guests or plus ones that are not listed on your invitation.

Question

What is garden party attire?

Answer

Think light and bright. Think floral prints and pastels. For men, suit pants or slacks and a button up shirt. Tie optional. No suit jacket required. For women, think summer cocktail attire and flowy dresses. Avoid stiletto heels as the wedding will be in a lawn.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our venue showcases the beautiful cliff-sides of the Columbia River Gorge. We want you to experience all of the magic this space has to offer. Weather permitting we will be completely outdoors. August is the warmest month in the Pacific Northwest and the venue is mostly shaded in late afternoon. Prepare for sun and shade. So basically, be ready for anything.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! Off Highway 14 there is an event parking area on the left. It is before the general store. Look for the sign! From the lot, walk up the small hill to the venue. There is also parking near the grange in the gravel. The Neighborhood Market near the venue is for customers only, they will tow vehicles if you park in that area. Enjoy the beautiful, winding scenic drive through the gorge. Please drink responsibly as cars cannot be left overnight!
