Matron of Honor
Bailey is my older sister and only sibling. Since Bailey has moved back to Kansas City you won't find us too far apart. Growing up most of my memories include Bailey, from her giving me a vacuuming license to being outside 24/7 in our treehouse. We worked hand in hand in most things we did. She would order my food for me and I would cut hers up for her. It was a great trade-off for me since I wouldn't talk to my own shadow. Bailey has been one of my biggest supporters from the day I was born and I am not sure where I would be without her.
Best Man
Drew is my younger brother and my only sibling. Growing up with Drew meant I always had someone to play with. We played lots of sports and video games. We also loved building tracks for Hot Wheels cars or Thomas the Train toys. Being the older brother also meant when things weren't going my way I always had someone to pick on. Drew has truly experienced the best and worst of me. As we have gotten older you can find us going to Wizards (SKC) games, enjoying steaks, or playing golf. Throughout all the years, I have learned more lessons in my experiences with Drew than I have with anyone else and I could not imagine my life without him.
Matron of Honor
Carly is my soul sister. We have been best friends for 15 years, since middle school. There aren't enough words to describe our friendship, but I know no matter what she will be there. We went to the same school in middle and junior high and then high school came. She went to Liberty and I went to North. We thought us being school foes would be the end of the world, but we made it through. Ryan actually took Carly to homecoming so that I could go to a school dance with my best friend. (note the picture of us @ homecoming). I will save you from reading a novel, but just know Carly isn't just my best friend she is forever a part of the Barnett sisters, even though none of us will have that name soon!
Groomsman
Quentan is one of my best and earliest friends in life. My first memories of Q are at church when we were 4 years old. We spent our entire educational careers together from Ms. Bredemeier's Kindergarten class all the way through college at Mizzou. We played on every sports team imaginable together growing up. While real team sports were fun, nothing could beat playing indoor basketball in my basement or tramp ball in his backyard. With so many experiences together, Q and I can sit and talk for hours and pretend to solve all of the world's problems.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I went to college at Evangel University. We played soccer together and graduated in 2020... a lovely senior year. College soccer was the highlight of my college experience due to this girl and a few more down this list. After I tore my ACL junior year, Rachel and I were inseparable. If we weren't in class, at practice, or something else for soccer we were probably eating Qdoba or Andy's on her couch in her apartment. Rachel pushed me through the hardest year of my life, when I quite literally couldn't stand on my own. We laugh til we cry, jam out to whatever music is playing and get to be dog moms together with our little furries, Winston and Cooper!
Groomsman
Michael is one of my earliest and best friends. We started riding the bus together in Kindergarten. Michael always lived up the street and around the corner in our neighborhood. Out of all my friends I probably spent the most time at Michael's house and would've probably been there even more if I hadn't been such a picky eater. We hung out all the time growing up playing basketball, football, whiffle ball, and plenty of other indoor games. As much as we spent time doing that we probably spent more time playing on sports teams together. No matter what we were doing I always knew Michael had my back. Even though we no longer have the luxury of living in the same state, Michael remains one of my closest friends.
Bridesmaid
Kamrynn, also known as Kami, and I met at Evangel. We lived on the same floor her freshman year and my sophomore year. If there was a sporting event happening we were probably there, especially the football games, but not for any specific reason!😉 We grew to be great friends during my last year of college and into her senior year after I graduated. I had the pleasure of standing by her side on her wedding day to her second favorite #9...one of the reasons we frequented the Evangel football games. Kami and I talk every day, most likely about Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift and it's a highlight of each day.
Groomsman
Garrett and I met in elementary school and we've been close friends ever since. We went to school together all the way through college at Mizzou. Growing up we played every sport together and spent many days and nights at each other's houses. One of my biggest memories with Garrett growing up was going to the MU/KU basketball game in 2009 at Mizzou Arena. Before I turned to the good side, I used to root for KU as a kid. Garrett, an MU fan, invited me to go anyway, and when Mizzou won he only minimally rubbed it in. Mostly he helped me get out of the arena alive which is a small illustration of how loyal a friend he is. I was thankful then and still thankful for his loyal friendship to this day.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay went to Liberty North with Ryan and I. We were friends in high school, but didn't become super close until we moved in together in March 2021. Lindsay experienced the development of Ryan and I's relationship from the moment it started. We've gotten to experience so many things in the year we have lived together. From random concerts, to ballets, musicals, or Super Bowl celebrations. Lindsay is always down for an adventure and I love that about her. We've grown so much together during this time, from going to workouts, joining a book club, and just trying to be adults. I will forever cherish this time we have gotten to live together with our little family of four, including my pup and her cat. We promise they get along!🙃
Groomsman
Logan and I became great friends during our freshman year of high school playing on the basketball team together. He was the only other big KU fan in our friend group in high school so we went to several KU football games together. We would often bond over our love for KU and baseball until I decided to betray him and attend MU. A couple of years into college he became a frequent visitor in Columbia to see his now wife Andie. Since then we have spent countless days and weekends watching sports including playing fantasy football and baseball every year.
Bridesmaid
Sam was probably one of my first friends at Evangel. Going to a new town and a new school, knowing absolutely no one can be a little intimating, but Sam swooped me up and included me from the very beginning. She was also on the soccer team at Evangel and we were roommates sophomore year before she left me and decided to graduate early. While Sam and I lived together our time consisted strictly of staying up til at least 2am, getting up at 5am for practice, coming back after and napping, going to class and then coming back to nap more, going to dinner, and then probably going to Taco Bell, McDonalds, or Chinese for a late-night snack, to do it all over again the next day. Good thing we were running miles every day for obvious reasons. Sam now lives in Cleveland, OH so we don't see each other often, but when we do it's like we haven't missed a beat. I am so blessed by her and her friendship.
Groomsman
Cody is my oldest cousin and the closest person I have to an older brother. As the oldest Tapp cousin, Cody made sure to lead the way and always include us younger cousins even when he didn't have to. Cody and I have very different interests and personalities which makes for a fun time when we get together. I can talk for hours about anything sports related while he can talk for hours about electronics, robots, and anything mechanical. Those who know Cody and I best know we share a deep love for whole Milk. When I got my driver's license, one of my favorite things to do was to go to Cody's apartment. I would bring a tote of McDonald's Cookies and he would have the milk and we would have a great time talking and playing video games together.
Bridesmaid
I have known Bianca for 5 years now. Bianca pushes each and every person around her to be a better version of themselves. From the first day she showed up at an Evangel practice she made an impact on our team and on me to be better. Our friendship first started because we both cared too much and we both have very strong personalities. We're going to tell you how we feel about something whether you want to hear it or not. Since that first day, our friendship has grown to be something so special whether we live in the same city or across the country. Bianca has been there for me through so many challenges and transitions and I am so thankful to have her standing next to me on the biggest day.
Groomsman
Sam is one of my earliest friends. We also spent our entire educational careers together from Ms. Bredemeier's Kindergarten class all the way through college at Mizzou. Out of all my friends, I had the most classes with Sam. His intelligence helped me get through some of the toughest classes in both high school and college. The interests we share in sports, science, and random trivia facts allow Sam and me to talk for hours about anything. I know I can always count on Sam to say yes and be down to try all kinds of new adventures.
Bridesmaid
Bailey and I were partners in crime on the soccer field for about a total of 2 games until I tore my ACL, when she was also crying for me. We were the center back duo that was going to make waves until we weren't, but that didn't change our friendship off the field. Bailey and I are very similar. We don't take things too seriously and absolutely despise running and getting up early. We did both repeatedly and complained about it every day. We often got in trouble at practice for messing around and not paying attention, but we sure made practices more enjoyable for everyone else involved. I am so blessed to have someone that cares so deeply for me and has genuinely walked alongside me for the last 5 years.

JD and I have been close friends since our freshman year in high school where we played on the same basketball team. Throughout high school and college, JD and I loved talking about all the sports together. We compete in fantasy football and baseball leagues against each other. We've attended countless sporting events, including both Chiefs' Super Bowl parades! JD is the best person in our friend group for keeping us active and getting us together to play pickup basketball on the weekends.
