FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP when you receive your invitation - that would be great and very helpful! Our last day to RSVP is January 18th. Our vendors require us to provide head counts by this date, and any unanswered RSVPs will be counted as a "No". Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is based on RSVPs. If you have a guest option listed on your invite, then yes please feel free to bring along a guest!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Our wedding is an adult-only event unless listed differently on your invitation. We respectfully ask that you make other arrangements for your children so we can celebrate with you!

Question

What is the wedding timeline?

Answer

We will begin the ceremony at 3:30. The reception will begin at 5:30 and end at 11:30.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our suggested attire is semi-formal/black tie optional. If you have a long dress or tux that you have been dying to wear, please do! If you would feel more comfortable in a cocktail dress or suit, go for it! We kindly ask that no one wears jeans or shorts. *A spot for coats will be available at both venues if needed*

Question

What are my options for parking?

Answer

Liberty Christian Church has a parking lot at the back of the church off E. Mill Street. From there you will walk around the side of the church and enter on the side by S. Lincoln Street. The Stanley is in downtown Lee Summit, about 30 minutes from the church. We suggest using the City Hall (free) parking garage a couple of blocks away. It will be the most convenient. There are also some other free lots throughout downtown or street parking. If needed there is a drop-off/loading zone right in front of The Stanley. *If you would like a marked map please reach out and we can send that to you*

Question

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before our 3:30 pm ceremony time. This gives us enough time to be on schedule and help our guests who may need extra assistance finding their seats.

Question

Can I take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We hired very talented professionals to capture our day! Although we appreciate that you might want to snap some pictures - we ask that you honor our 'unplugged' ceremony. We will make sure to share lots of pictures and videos with you after the wedding! If you would like to take pictures/videos of the rest of the day - please do! Also, make sure to tag us and add our hashtag #signedsealedsprugel

Question
