You're welcome to respond via the website (see the RSVP link above) or by returning the card in your invitation by mail.
We kindly request your RSVP no later than March 20, 2026. Our numbers are due to the caterer just after this, so this will allow us to ensure you are well-fed for the celebrations!
We look forward to welcoming all those named on the invitation, including children.
Our caterer is able to accommodate most allergies. Please include specific notes on your RSVP and we will pass this along to our caterer.
Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided with the hosts’ compliments, with cocktails available for purchase.
There is ample free parking available at both the ceremony and reception. For the ceremony, parking is available in the lot behind the church. The driveway to the parking lot is next to City Hall, two buildings before the church. Limited street parking is available in front of the church. For the reception, please follow your GPS to the address listed, and park in the lot in front of the reception building. Please do not park on neighborhood streets.
Because of ample parking availability, we will not have a shuttle to and from the hotel. Uber and Lyft operate regularly in the area, and we encourage guests to consider carpooling with others who will be driving from the hotel.
Formal attire is requested. Suits and ties (no tuxes), long dresses, or formal cocktail dresses are all welcome. Feel free to dress up, and have fun with any floral elements you might have at home! Guests are welcome to wear any footwear they please. Aside from optional photos (which are outdoors, weather permitting), all events will be indoors or on paved surfaces.
The official wedding colors are purple and gold, but our overall theme is springtime floral. Have fun with florals in your attire - we want flowers everywhere!
Yes, both venues are able to accommodate those with mobility challenges. At the church, please use the rear entrance (follow signage for handicap accessible ramps). At the reception, there will be a golf cart available to drive guests up the short sidewalk from the parking lot to the cocktail hour.
New England weather can be unpredictable any time of year, but especially in the spring. While we hope for sunshine and mild temperatures, you should prepare for possible rain and cold. Be sure to bring an outer layer so you're not too chilly as you go between the ceremony and reception, and umbrellas or raincoats are recommended to have on hand.
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. Guests will be invited to join the couple for optional photos, weather permitting, which will take place on a grassy lawn area near the water. All other walking will be done on paved surfaces.
Our ceremony will be a phone-free zone. We ask that you respect the church and not pull out your phones during the ceremony. There will be an opportunity after the ceremony concludes for photos - please wait to pull out your phone until instructed to do so. During the reception, please take as many photos as you like! We will have a link for those who wish to share photos afterwards.
Those who know her well know that Signe has an early bedtime... So the bride and groom will not be sticking around for any post-reception festivities. That said, we invite you to keep the party going if you'd like to do so. Alex and Signe will see you in the morning for breakfast!
We're planning a quick getaway to the Bahamas the week after the wedding. We'll then be headed off for a longer trip later in the year to Iceland, Sweden, and Denmark, including a stop in the town from which Signe's Swedish ancestors emigrated.
