FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to celebrate with someone special! If your invitation indicates a plus-one, you’re welcome to bring a guest. If not, we’re keeping things a bit more intimate and hope you understand. Feel free to reach out if you have questions!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love children, we’re keeping the guest list limited to just the little ones involved in the ceremony. We hope you can enjoy a night off and celebrate with us!

Question

Can I stay at the houses onsite at Lake Bluff?

Answer

Only guests who were specifically invited to stay onsite at the venue are able to do so, as space was limited. For all other guests, there are lodging options just a few miles from the venue. If you’d prefer something more homey or unique, we also recommend checking out Airbnb or Vrbo rentals in the area. Please see the “Travel” tab on the website for hotel, cabin, and campground options.

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

Guests can follow the parking signs when you arrive. You'll take the dirt drive that wraps around to the top of the bluff, and parking signage will guide you the rest of the way.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1, 2026.

Question

Can we bring our own drinks to the welcome party & wedding?

Answer

We’ll have beer, seltzers, wine, and some non-alcoholic options available for everyone to enjoy. If you have a favorite beverage you’d like to drink, feel free to bring it along!

Question

Can we go down to the lake from the bluff?

Answer

For safety reasons, accessing the lake from the bluff is off-limits due to erosion and unstable ground. We invite you to enjoy the stunning lake views from the designated lookout points instead!

Question

Will breakfast or lunch be provided on Saturday to those staying on site?

Answer

Lunch will be provided for the bridal party while getting ready on Saturday. For all other guests, please plan accordingly. Each house has full kitchens and fridges, so feel free to bring anything you’d like. There are also plenty of restaurant options in downtown Frankfort, just a few miles from the venue.

Question

How much does it cost to stay in the houses onsite at the venue and how do I pay?

Answer

For those that were asked to stay onsite at the venue, lodging is $75 per person, per night. You can send payment via PayPal (Sierra Penny), Venmo (@sierra-penny), or pay in cash by August 1st.
