Wes proposed to Sierra in the most magical way during a trip to Thailand. After traveling with a group of friends, they ventured on their own to Koh Sok National Park, where they stayed in a floating bungalow. They had a private guide who showed them around on a long boat, took them hiking through the rainforest, and shared the local history and culture. While out on the long boat, they saw a wild baby elephant by the water - which they were told was a rare sight and a symbol of good luck. Sierra told Wes that it was the best day she had ever had. That same night, on the deck of their floating bungalow, Wes got down on one knee and asked Sierra to spend the rest of their lives together. Though she was caught by surprise in the moment, it was never a surprise that they would be together forever.
