For a morning adventure, the famous Mayan ruins Chichen-Itza (pictured here) is a 2 hour drive away from Playa. Other Mayan ruins are open for visiting within Playa as well.

5th Avenue "Quinta Avenida" is a famous street in Playa home to restaurants, bars, boutiques, art galleries, events, local shops, and coffee shops. A beautiful avenue to stroll and explore.
