Your presence is gift enough for us! If you feel so inclined, feel free to take a look at our wedding registry for gift ideas. However, we kindly ask that you not bring a gift to the wedding, as we will have to pay to have everything shipped back to Georgia.
2020 has been wild and unpredictable. While we plan to move forward with our wedding, we want our guests to feel safe, comfortable, and respected. Here are some updates that might be helpful when considering if you will attend. 1. Our ceremony site is outdoors and will have plenty of fresh, Wyoming air. The site seats a couple hundred people, and has ample room to stand as well. 2. The reception site seats a maximum of 400 people. The venue is indoors, but we have access to the outdoor lawn space where our guests can go in and out as they please. 3. Currently, we are expecting at most somewhere between 90-110 guests. The staff at the reception venue have assured us that this number of people will allow for plenty of social distancing space for our guests to roam around the building and on the lawn outdoors. 4. We also plan to have hand sanitizer stationed around the reception venue, and disposable masks available to any guests who would feel more comfortable wearing a mask.
The sooner you are able to RSVP, the better. If you are able to RSVP by August 19th, that would be extremely helpful! However, we know that times are unpredictable right now. Please feel free to reach out to Pete or Sierra with your questions or concerns.
Absolutely! We want all the family and friends we have to join us in celebrating our special day.
Unfortunately, no. Please plan on a 15-20 minute drive from Laramie to Hynds Lodge Amphitheater off of Happy Jack road. Parking is available at both Hynds Lodge, as well as the Alice Hardy Stevens Center for the reception. Additionally, please plan on extra traffic in Laramie this day as it is a home game for the Cowboys.
Anything goes from cowboy-attire, to dressy casual, to cocktail attire, we're just glad you will be joining us! Please remember that Wyoming weather is unpredictable, especially in September! Keep an eye on the weather forecast, because it could be a perfect fall day, or it could be snowing.
