FAQs

The Wedding Website of Michael Hilgeman and Sierra Young
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course, we warmly welcome little ones! A designated space for changing, feeding, and napping will be available in the bridal lounge for your convenience.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Certainly! We’ve already made arrangements to accommodate that. However please communicate with the bride so she can properly coordinate seating arrangements

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and long cocktail dresses.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We want every guest to feel welcome and well cared for. If you have any food allergies or dietary needs, please don’t hesitate to let us know—we’d love to ensure everyone enjoys a delicious meal. Wood-fired pizza will be served at the venue; if you have a gluten intolerance or specific concern, kindly reach out to the bride in advance so she can coordinate with the vendor.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Feel free to take an Uber or Lyft, or contact one of us if you’d prefer to coordinate a ride share with another guest. The venue offers ample parking, and many of our guests will be happy to assist with transportation if needed.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The bride and groom are pleased to assist guests in securing accommodations for the celebration. A block of 10 rooms has been reserved at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Waxahachie. If you would like to reserve one of these rooms, we would be delighted to make those arrangements on your behalf.
