Things To Do Upstate
There are so many things to do in Lake Placid and the surrounding area! Lake Placid played host to the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics. The Adirondack Park is a beautiful venue for hiking, fishing, camping, and exploration.
Montreal is a two-hour drive (bring your passport).
New York City is a five-hour drive, or you can catch a train to and from Lake Placid (2-3 hr drive).
Getting to Vermont requires only a short ferry ride across Lake Champlain.
