Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We love your children, but the venue does not allow for minors (under 21) to be present.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The venue is not in town, so either plan for a taxi/Uber or plan with a designated driver for getting back to your hotel. There is limited parking at the venue so we recommend taking a taxi. Please drive responsibly!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is limited parking. Ceremony and reception are at the same site, but there is a walk up a hill to get from the ceremony to the reception. We recommend taking a taxi or Uber to and from the location. If you’ve been drinking, please do not drive.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know of any food allergies as soon as possible so we can coordinate with our venue!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual. It’s August in upstate New York, so keep in mind the weather is likely going to be hot.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Hotel recommendations can be found under Travel to and Staying in Lake Placid. Currently, High Peaks Resort has blocked rooms under our name (Gentry-Cotrona). There are also several other recommendations on our list. We understand that people have a variety of accommodation preferences, so we hope you’re able to find one that fits.
