In 2021, we met working summer jobs at 5B’s BBQ (Jessie and Drew’s AMAZING BBQ restaurant)!! After about 1 month of working shifts together, we found ourselves at a mutual friend’s wedding. After a couple margaritas, we ended up on the dance floor and danced into the night! We continued this summer romance by going to Cattlemen’s Days together and going on evening waterfall hikes in Crested Butte. Within a few weeks, our happily ever after began! We dated long distance from Gunnison to Colorado Springs for the year until Sierra graduated from UCCS. We then moved into our first apartment in Lone Tree, CO together. In July of 2024 while we were in Gunnison Valley for Cattlemen’s Days (our favorite summer tradition), we went on one of our favorite waterfall hikes in Crested Butte. Ed popped the question once we reached the waterfall! We are so excited to celebrate our love with all of our friends and family!
