It's Summer 2015. We're both fresh out of graduating from Michigan (Go Blue) and living in New York City with our first big kid jobs. Life is good. One Saturday, our mutual gal pal Ashley separately invites us for a night of all-you-can-eat sushi and, before we know it, we're sitting across from each other at the infamous Kumo Sushi on Bleecker Street. We quickly recognize each other from campus and, after talking a bit, realize Chris was actually a TA for one of Sierra's engineering classes! Between reminiscing about football Saturdays and talking shop about Prof. Daida's Engineering 100 class...one sake bomb quickly turns into too many. Fast forward to the next week at work where we realize we also happen to work in the same building…on the same floor…on the same team. We spent the next 3 years commuting to and from the office together, sitting back-to-back at work, and occasionally ~collaborating~ on projects (like that one time our bosses sent us to London together for the best summer ever). Now, 7 years later, we live in California with our Newfie fur baby Kumo, and we hope to have sake bombs for all at the wedding.
