The Wedding Website of Sierra Smith and Chase Shantz

Sierra Smith

Bride

I met Sierra at Chipotle and she was the highlight of most of my hours there! From our first day together I could tell that not only was she special and a blast to be around, but I knew she would be part of my life for a long time. Sierra is a goofy soul with plenty of love and cares for everyone in her life. I'm lucky enough to be part of her life and get to experience her love, kindness, and joy every single day! I can't wait to laugh our lives aways together!

Chase Shantz

Groom

Since the day I had to bag chips with Chase at work I have been constantly laughing (& rolling my eyes at his corniness). Our strong friendship has grown into an amazing relationship and set a strong foundation for our future. Chase’s mindset and ambition are two of my favorite things about him. He motivates me to be the best I can be, supports me, and constantly helps me rationalize things. His smile and laugh light up any room making my heart swell. His presence brings me a feeling of joy and peace that is indescribable! I am beyond grateful to have my best friend and soon-to-be-husband wrapped in one; the person I can talk deeply about anything to and can quite literally make me laugh at any given moment- even when I’m super HANGRY. I can’t believe I get to love him forever! -Sierra

Alexandra Irwin

Maid of Honor

Sixth grade recess... in her incredibly too big football jersey... that was for her swim team... hollering at her step-brother for some reason or another! That is the first thing I remember of her and the rest is history. She has been by my side for it all! Every single Twilight premiere, the best of times and the worst of times. Bless the teachers that had us together in middle school... passing notes and tackling each other over desks- oops! We have consumed too much raw double chocolate chip brownie batter, Simply Raspberry Lemonade, and club house crackers. She never fails to give it to me straight and makes sure I exhaust all of my decisions forward and backwards. I cannot wait to continue to grow through life with you! CUPCAKES FOREVER!!!

Peirce Billington

Best Man

Pierce and I met at a summer league basketball practice, he told me that we lived close to each other and we should hang out, and I showed up the next morning at 8:00 am. Then I came back around 12:00 when Pierce was actually awake. As our friendship began we shared too many laughs to remember playing video games, walking around our neighborhood, and jumping on the undersized trampoline. As our friendship has continued to grow, I've never lost the ability to laugh and just fully enjoy my time with Pierce. He has been my honorary brother for as long as I can remember and I couldn't imagine the rest of my life without him.

Andrea Vierthaler

Bridesmaid

This friendship was fate from the beginning- both dropped a class and had to add an 8 week course... and just happened to add the night class that met twice a week for THREE hours a night (shoutout to our awesome professor who would always bring coffee and food to get us through). Then somehow the two of us with completely different degrees got put in the same class AGAIN, thank goodness for that, another night class and it was STATS. You came into my life at a very necessary time and I am beyond grateful for you...

Chandler Shantz

Groomsman

Chandler has been my brother since before I could remember. It seems like my entire life even. Even though most of our childhood he made a game out of my suffering, I wouldn't trade Chandler for the world. No matter what happens I know that Chandler will always have my back and support me.

Conner Sigel

Bridesmaid

The only time the "meet your neighbor" activity on syllabus day led to a friendship... and a great one at that! My always down for a target/marshalls/coffee run, favorite co-chef and walking partner. It is time for us to invest in another pair of good sneakers. The maker of my awesome 21st birthday smash cake and cupcakes (barbie may or may not still have icing in her hair). It was no coincidence that we sat near each other my sophomore year, not only did you make that class bearable, but a forever friendship emerged that semester! An inspiration and such an incredibly hard worker who loves so deeply. I could not have asked for a better accountability partner that day. I cannot wait for her to exude her talents in design, to help with our future home! Blessed be thy fruit CJ

Klint Graham

Groomsman

Klint and I's friendship really did start in the gym. Whenever I saw Klint in the gym I would let him know that he needed to go ahead and put some weight on the bar. No matter the exercise, how much he was lifting, how hard he was working, I always let him know he wasn't lifting any weight yet. From there, our friendship started to grow in some classes we had together and was really showcased in senior year physics. Where, admittedly, we kind of got to do whatever we wanted. After high school, we both attended K-State where we continued being swolemates through his graduation last fall. While at K-State, Klint got the nickname "Bill Snyder" from a football game freshman year, he convinced me to join a fraternity and then we convinced each other to drop out of the fraternity.

Anna Arends

Bridesmaid

Let's thank mutual friends and Country Stampede, an outdoor country concert, for this friendship. Nanner, my personal stylist and closet (boy do I miss being able to wear all of her clothes whenever I needed to!) The best Saturday game-day partner and biggest CATS fan I know. I am so happy that I followed the voice that asked around if anyone wanted a margarita that night, and our love for margarita lead me to her! Countless rooftop Gordo's dates with chicken enchiladas topped with queso, our themed dinner parties and getting her hooked on Grey's. I will never stop coming to her with fashion advice and I know it is reciprocated with her asking me advice about cooking!

Ethan Folmer

Groomsman

I gained Ethan as a brother when his father married my mom way back in middle school. Ethan has always been an easy going and fun guy to be around. Whether playing video games, shooting bows or guns, him trying to convince me that fishing is SOO much fun, or just hanging out it was always a good time. Ethan is one of the most talented people I know in anything that he does, but he's especially talented in his art and his fishing. It has been a blast continuing to get to know Ethan better as we grow up and head out into the world.

Tabitha Brownell

Bridesmaid

From the beginning Matt knew we would be the perfect balance to each other... strong personalities and all. I could thank Matt a million times a day for bringing you into my life! Never a dull moment when I am around you. We have spent many hours digging through the racks at goodwill and Marshalls for the best deal- and mostly the things we did not know that we needed (hehe). The person in my life that I know would do anything in the world to protect the people she loves -- all fueled by iced black tea and RedBull. You will never stop making a difference and helping people, still so amazed by the work you did in Guatemala last summer! Thankful for our friendship and you never letting the shot timer go unattended.

Zac Stiles

Groomsman

Zae Stiller, biggest head in the East. Chase's spiderbro from back home.

Krystena Smith

Bridesmaid

The sister I never thought I would have and never knew that I wanted. Zachary was bright to keep you around! I am grateful that she is starting to catch up on my sarcasm and very thankful she has always laughed at my jokes and snarky comments. Oh and not to mention she is the best momma to my first nephew (Jaxon the OH SO handsome ring bearer)! It is such a treasure to see her do what she loves, especially when I can reap the benefits of what she throws down in the kitchen... and then make up for it with her workouts! Grateful that her being suckered into being my sister also turned out to be a lifelong friendship of laughs, eyerolls and her leaving her coffee mug in the microwave. Tina Bean don't eat the pickles.

Jacob Khoury

Groomsman

I met Jake in Delta Sigma Phi my sophomore year at K-State. Jake has always been an extremely genuine, caring, and enjoyed dark humor just enough not to make you worry. A lot of my time spent with Jake has been either playing video games, watching moves, or doing fun things while he does homework that never ends. I often discount Delta Sig, but I'm thankful that I got to know Jake and look forward to having him as a friend as he becomes wealthy and generous.

Zachary Smith

Usher

Brides older brother- watch out for his moves on the dance floor

Connor Smith

Usher

Brides donut loving little brother with the killer hair!
