Welcome to Wilmington!
First and foremost do not miss the beach, even in January it is a great place for a walk and to find some free souvenirs! Also the sunrise on the beach is something you cannot miss, plus it is a good time to dolphin watch.
Front street is a happening place for good eats, drinks, and shopping. Be sure to check out the cotton exchange on front street for some local work. YOU MUST go to Kilwin's Chocolates for ice cream, or fudge or whatever your sweet tooth desires. More shopping at Mayfair town center and Independence mall.
Looking for some seafood on the water? Our favorite place on the water for some fresh seafood is Fish House Grill (Outdoor seating year round!).
